How to work this list
Start at the top. The list is ordered by Domain Rating, and the first followed link from a DR 80 domain does more for a new site than the next twenty put together. Do the free ones with a followed link first, then decide on the paid ones with the fee in front of you.
AI directories are the most crowded corner of the directory world. Most have a free queue measured in weeks and a paid lane measured in hours. If the product is new and the domain is at DR 0, a $20 to $50 fee for a same-week followed link from a DR 70+ site is usually the cheapest link you will ever buy. If you already have a dozen followed links, the queue is fine.
Several of these only follow the link once their badge is on your site. Put one badge snippet on the footer of your product page, then submit to all of them in one sitting.
What to have ready
A one-line tagline under 60 characters, a 200 to 300 word description, a square logo at 512px, two or three screenshots at 1280 wide, your pricing in one sentence, and a category. AI directories also ask what model or provider is behind the product and whether there is a free tier; answer plainly, they check.
The free rank plan writes the tagline and description for you, sized for each form, and lists which of these directories would take your product before you spend the afternoon.
What to expect after submitting
Free listings on the busier AI directories go live in two to six weeks; paid ones in one to three days. Once live, Ahrefs usually registers the link within a fortnight. Traffic from an AI directory listing is real but front-loaded: most of it comes in the first week on the front page, then a trickle from category pages.
Check the listing once it is live. Click the link to your site and look at the rel attribute; a few of these directories advertise followed links and ship nofollow ones on the free tier.
